Squishable sculpture and artful comfort.  To touch, to lean on, to consider.  This brand new project takes inspiration from the imperative of willful optimism and the Passover injunction to recline as free people, as well as ubiquitous air cushion packaging.  Nothing but blue skies do I see.

One of a kind.  Cyanotype monoprinting with hand-mixed photo chemistry and giant negatives on cotton yardage and pillow fabrication done in our Central Virginia studios.

14.5 inch square pillow.  Cover sewn from our cyanotype monoprint on 100% cotton with poly fleece lining.  American-made insert; 50/50 down/poly blend.  Zipper.  Studio tag & dated.

Gentle hand wash with ph-neutral detergent is recommended for cover after removing insert.  Line dry.  Cool iron.  Avoid borax and other caustic cleaners which can alter intensity of cyanotype print.
